Boy’s Girl

Posted in Poetry/Lyrics at 8:47 pm by bizarrerhymes

The doorbell rings while I’m talking on the ‘phone to you
I see it’s Rean and tell you that I have to go real quick
A falter in my voice rings out like guilt in an empty room
And now I can’t repeat the same old story missing life’s glory

Talking in riddles is not facing up to the facts
Hide the issue in a maze of psychotic layers
give me a drink and I’ll spend a few hours elaborating
Putting the world to rights, climbing up the rabbits fur.

Boy meets girl – boy likes girl – girl doesn’t like boy
Boy meets girl – boy likes girl – girl likes boy
Boy and girl are married
Boy’s girl doesn’t like boy – girl’s boy doesn’t like girl
