Burning

Posted in Poetry/Lyrics at 8:57 pm by bizarrerhymes

I hate the pipping alarm buzzer
But it’s not that burning a hole in my head
Got to get up and take the dog out
But I’m stuck to the inside of the bed.

I hate hanging the washing
But I’m down to my last pair of pants
Dried up baked beans on a baked pan
Why can’t I just dinner and dance.

Cats wax and polifiller
Jumble beans and stew
Beef Jerky
Turkey
Pig and pokey
Leave me now
I want to be blue.

Good Morning

Posted in Poetry/Lyrics at 8:57 pm by bizarrerhymes

Good Morning Mum. Hello Son
Hurry up and eat your cereal
And get things done
After that go to school and learn that math
And don’t forget today is Tuesday
It’s your night for a bath

Oh! That gets me so annoyed
I want to kick a tree
Why don’t you all leave me a alone
And then I can be free.

Good Morning Sir. Hello boy,
Thorner, where is your homework
It’s over a week late.
Sorry Sir, someones nicked it
Well my boy you’re on detention
Now your really in the pit.

Oh! That gets me so annoyed
I want to kick a tree
Why don’t you all leave me a alone
And then I can be free.

Good After Joss, Hello Ross
Thank Good we’re after lessons
And now can have some fun
It’s all on C drive, directory ‘harder’
You can start with Green day
and we’ll end with Groove Armada.

Corporate Colour

Posted in Poetry/Lyrics at 8:56 pm by bizarrerhymes

Peculiarly satisfying blue and green
Distinctively meaningful yellow and blue
Eco-saving caring shades of green
I want to express myself with black and white

It all depends on my corporate colours
I really don’t belong without my corporate colour
Corporate colour
Corporate colour
Corporate colour

Scattered

Posted in Poetry/Lyrics at 8:56 pm by bizarrerhymes

Falling leaves from scattered trees,
Scratchy stones with crunchy tones,
A small white dog with an angry bark,
Frightens an old lady before it pisses in the park.
We’re searching for the meaning,
Whilst the end of the year is nearing.

The Cloud

Posted in Poetry/Lyrics at 8:55 pm by bizarrerhymes

I wondered lonely as a cloud
In fields of grey and blue
And when I saw what she saw
I marvelled and gasped aloud.

The copse on the hill
Stood proud of the cloud.
The land between a vibrant green.
And then a thought came over me,
A strange one indeed.

In The Now

Posted in Poetry/Lyrics at 8:55 pm by bizarrerhymes

I’m not a yesterday boy
Dwelling on sorrow and joy
Nor a tomorrow’s man
Fretting about tomorrow’s plan.

I’m only in the now,
Making every second count
You’ll only find me in the now,
Where everything comes round about.

I’ll not mull on yesterday
She’s gone too far away
Nor worry ’bout tomorrow,
And any of her sorrow.

Jam today and jam tomorrow
Jam to eat and not to borrow.

Ain’t living in times that passed
Nor future’s fickle paths
Can’t tell (you) the why and how,
I beg you – come into the now,
Come into the now.

The doctor gave me 20 days,
To change my life and mend my ways,
I’ll not waste a second of this life,
I came to tell you that I feel this way.

I’ll not waste a second of today,
Telling you that I felt this way,
Be with me you know it’s right,
Let’s live in love,
Until the end of night.

Ain’t living in times that passed
Nor future’s fickle paths
Can’t tell (you) the why and how,
I beg you – come into the now,
Come into the now.

Warszawa

Posted in Poetry/Lyrics at 8:54 pm by bizarrerhymes

Down, up, gold, around, swirling town,
Heck, you’re playing on my emotions like a twelve string.
I want to pass the middle eight but I need the bridge,
I don’t like it when you put me to the test.

My colourful Warszawa taunting me like a débutante,
So immature and naïve but sucking me into her
Den like an inviting female spider cagoules her mate,
Using his seed before he sates her more primitive need.

But this rambling has to be tamed and cured,
We must sit down with a piece of paper and pen,
And map our mind to find a relationship between
Heaven and earth – the simplest of answers.

Straight line curves at the end of my sight,
Thank you Lord for music which is given and received
For beauty which is seen and perceived
And for the greatest of Faith, Hope and Love.

Heart

Posted in Poetry/Lyrics at 8:53 pm by bizarrerhymes

My heart
I want to wrap around
Your heart

Your soul
I think with you I’ve found
My soul.

You give me a rush
When I see you walking
…..only want a hush
When I hear you talking.

You’re my very own
Promise to be mine.
Write your love in stone,
Until the end of time.

My heart
I want to wrap around
Your heart

Your soul
I think with you I’ve found
My soul.

Keep me in your love
While we both are living
Fit me like a glove
And your warmth keep giving.

Stay just like you are
Promise to be mine
Write it in the stars
until the end of time.

My heart
I want to wrap around
Your heart

Your soul
I think with you I’ve found
My soul.

My heart
Your heart
Your soul
My soul
My heart
Your heart
Your soul
My soul.

Jumbo

Talking to a man,
From a different land
You learn about his culture
And you shake his hand.

JUMBO U JUMBO SI JUMBO SI JUMBO
JUMBO U JUMBO SI JUMBO SI JUMBO

talking in my tongue
just didn’t seem right
Talking his rhythmic words
Made the sun shine bright.
JUMBO that’s hello
U JUMBO how d’you do?
SI JUMBO I’m fine thanks
SI JUMBO SI JUMBO
SI JUMBO SI JUMBO

JUMBO U JUMBO SI JUMBO SI JUMBO
JUMBO U JUMBO SI JUMBO SI JUMBO

talking in this way
gave me other sight
I put my arms around him
for giving me some light

JUMBO U JUMBO SI JUMBO SI JUMBO
JUMBO U JUMBO SI JUMBO SI JUMBO

Cyber Love

Posted in Poetry/Lyrics at 8:52 pm by bizarrerhymes

He’s a dot com baby boomer eco-warrior, net citizen
Eats spam for breakfast, dinner and tea,
Dumb but SMS
Email, worm, squirm
Build up a firewall
Put it out with a water mark.

Sold his spirit for an electrode fix,
Lives a virtual life in a component world
Take digital, hear digital, speak digital
Think digital base 1, 2 binary chop.
Chips without fish, breadcrumbs without schnitzel
Shed years and change sex, gains years
Into tricked encounter, leads to lose life.

Reality is just too much like normality
Simulation gives you more control – build the soul
But alas for the e-child who cannot write
A capital letter or phase a series of lines
Fashioning an object alas is such a thrill.
